Re: 275/65/18 Duratracs on Mopar Wheels!

I have Duratrac LT275/65/18s including the spare and when using the storage totes the deck sits up a little over ". If I took the totes out it would rest on the sidewall and leave about a " gap. Only noticeable when tailgate is open so doesn't bother me at all.

Same fit with my Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT2 255/70-18 spare.

Would the rear cargo lid close if the tire were deflated?

I have 32inch Hankook MT's and they won't deform enough when fully deflated to fit.

I just purchased a '14 GC Limited yesterday and am looking to put the 275/65/18 Duratracs on as well, I am using the stock wheels, that wouldn't pose a problem or any rubbing would it?

Also, I will be doing a fair amount of off-roading, has anyone experienced rubbing at various angles?

I have owned various Jeep's through the years, 96 cherokee, 93 GC, and 06 GC, excited to be back in the community!

Agreed the Michelin touring tires aren't an aggressive AT tire, but they worked well for me in CO and UT off road (no mud of course).. QL equipped, the GC worked well climbing Engineer and the Slickrock in Moab..

I wouldn't buy them for off reading, but as long as you aren't dealing with mud, they work pretty well for a street tire.. When it tome for new treads, I'm looking to go 275\70\18 with either Sahara wheels or the the stock 18's, not sure yet which .

YMMV

Are you tying the lid down? Would think it could launch during an aggressive brake check?

Fit great and I love the look. Shown in Park, Normal Ride Hide and OR2.
Any rubbing or other issues? I'm leaning this way as well.

Thx

It has been a year and still love the tires and this size. No issues at all!

How did the tires effect you Mpg? I bought the diesel for the economy and now I'm itching to put tired like you have. It would be a shame to kill the mileage though.
Thanks.
