Re: 275/65/18 Duratracs on Mopar Wheels!

Thats awesome, those tires look great. I am coming to the WK (picking her up tonight actually) from my 07 ulimited Rubi that I of course loaded up. I am not gonna go as far as I did with my WK by any means, but still want the confidence/look of the aggressive tread. If you dont mind me asking, how much did those run you? I am looking at these tires or the BFG AT's since the factory is delivering my jeep with those worthless touring tires.

Yeah, I couldn't believe the crap tires that came with the "offroad" package on the WK2. I guess they figure most people wont ever take the WK2 offroad. The tires were $235 a piece from discount Tire. I looked at the BFG ATs too and liked these better as they were a little more aggressive, the BFGs are great tires too.

Does your tiregate completely block the rear view camera?

Not completely, I can only see about a foot or two behind the Jeep though. Its enough to avoid a bummer while parking but not enough of a view to rely on completely while backing up. I can see the hitch, which is helpful when hooking up a trailer.

Thanks man, it is mineral gray. I was originally going to mount it on the roof rack, but it takes up the whole rack and its pretty heavy. They make the bracket to mount it up there, I might try it just to see how it fits.

Hey Wahoo,

Your rig looks great! One quick question. I am thinking about the same wheel & tire combo. I know the new tire width is greater than stock, but how much higher than stock? I specifically want to compare the height of your tires to the stock Goodyear Fortera 265/50/20. I'm sure your tires are a bit taller since the are 65/18's instead of 60/18's. If you get a chance could you measure the height. Thanks! I just want to know what the new ride height and ground clearance would be.

Btw, it looks like the diameter of my tires (20's) are 30.5 inches and yours are 32.1 inches. I'm still curious about the height differences.

What psi do you run in your Duratracs and have you had any problems with the tpms? I just ordered a set and am curious.
