Fit them up yesterday. They came out pretty flush with the fenders. (I was hoping they'd stick out a bit more so I'm gonna test out some spacers tomorrow.) the tires are 275/60/20 Rocky Mtn ATS and their price is amazing I have the RRO lift. The tires do make contact with the felt liner and full turn, but does not touch metal. I'm gonna try to figure out a way to hold the felt back to give me proper clearance. I might even trim the felt. Will have to look and decide.
I dig it. I think it has a nice mash up of the styling from the SRT's, but with the off-road overall look. Not very functional for wheeling, but still stylish.
that looks good. I was considering those srt rep wheels. Are those the matte finish? what width are they and where did you get them if you don't mind? thanks
Main reason I bought the jeep over an xc60 was off-road capability. It has already seen mud a few times, but around my house it's mostly sand and range roads on the reservation. That's why I was willing to go with the 20s. If that doesn't work out, then I'll throw some meatier tires on my factory 18s and sell this 20" setup.
I'll sell you mine probably before too long. I'm Thinking I should go back to 18s and an even lower offset wheel to get wider tires on. The tires I have now are a little louder than stock but no where near as bad as I was expecting. Much quieter than my old trail grapplers (obviously) I haven't noticed any decrease in mpg either which is quite surprising to me.
