Lets say a 24 gallon tank, thats an additional 48 miles per tank. Lets put gas at 2.80 a gallon for regular. 2.40 x 2.80= $6.72 per fill up savings
Take $750/6.72= 111.6 times you have to fill up to break even on the cost, if its $750 dollars.
Lets put the average miles driven at 12,000 a year
480 miles to the tank (20x24)
You use roughly 25 full tanks in a years time frame.
It would take you 4.46 years to breakeven on the extra cost of the tranny.
Obviously its not a cost saver else you plan to have the Jeep for 20 years then you will save money in the long run, its more or less to improve shift points/acceleration.
