Re: A little eye candy for you all!

Looks great! I have a V6 as well and am wondering was there much difference in driving it? Ie does it seem to work noticeably harder? Bounce more or drive rougher? Also, what was the hit to mpg? I am thinking about lifting mine in the near future and would just like a little heads up on what I will be getting myself into. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! The drive didn't change much at all just loud from the mud tires. It doesn't seem to be much harder over bumps either. I used to get on average 19mpg and its gone down to about 17. Also I used to get about 410 miles to a tank to pretty empty and now I get around 350. The v6 still has pretty good power and does seem to work maybe a tad bit harder but not too much. I just wish I had the v8 sound!!!

MN!RK, Although my 08 3.7 does make a little growl that I've grown to like I was thinking about the same thing the other day.
I just wish I had the v8 sound!!!

Yea I had an 05 grand cherokee with the 3.7L. I hated that engine! It was soooo sloooow! It sounded ok but no V8. I thought I'd try out the new 3.6L V6 since it had 75 more horsepower and it is a lot better!!

Re: A little eye candy for you all!

I don't know what someone did to mine, but it doesn't seem to be as slow as a lot I hear about. Either way 75 more horses, and better fuel mileage does have me thinking about making a change.

Looks good. What is your ground clearance looking like now?

Mate what offset and bolt pattern is it exactly. Im in Australia and im having alot of trouble finding the right wheels and tyres for mine. I may have just found the right setup. I too have the 2.5 RR lift. Is there enough clearance with all the tyres? Cheers

Josh,

Mate, I think you'll find that if they're 17" wheels they won't fit our GCs down here. From what I can gather from other threads it's due to the larger brakes on the export models.

Clarkey.
