Please see my post.

Suspension modification WK2

Tightens up body roll significantly. I did both the front rear and the change in responsiveness is quite dramatic. I have a 2012 WK2 Laredo V6.

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

Where's the best place to purchase them ? , and is this a self install. Is alignment ?
required after install.

Thanks Jon

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

I like a lot of members on this forum purchased from justforjeeps.com.

im not a mechanic, but it don't believe an alignment is necessary, since a straight bolt on.

good luck on the mod if you end up doing it and please post your impressions.

I ended up doing biltsteins after the sways, which tightened things up even more.

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

I got one last question, I was looking at the front and back sway bars and yes it's pretty straight forward install. Are the SRT that much bigger then stock which to me seemed pretty large in diameter, but I'm no expert in this flied

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

At least for my model year (2012 thru current), the srt rear diameter is slightly thicker. The front, from what I understood was the same diameter, but heavier. The theory is the front SRT is solid versus hollow in the OEM.

You can surf around for info on this forum and will find corroborating posts.

All I know is the sway bars improve side to side wallowing, and hold curves better.

Thanks Jon

For the rear sway bar I found the cheapest site was moparonlineparts.com... $167 and no tax to CT at least. Shipping about $10. Got the part in under a week.

I'll let you guys know any changes, hoping to install this week. You do not need an alignment, as it is a bolt on piece.

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

Im not sold on this at all. I've read some posts that stated both front and rear are identical for SRT and non-SRT.
Only difference is shorter end links on the SRT. Anyone have proof of otherwise?
Either weight of both non-SRT/SRT or actual measurements of both?

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

+1 on MOF comments. The rear was slightly shorter (1/8-1/4"). Otherwise I could not tell. I did them anyway, since they were already going to be on the lift for installation.
