Air ride to Coil system

I own a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and currently in the process of making my car more off-road compatible. Adding some new wheels, tires, crash bar, light, etc. But while doing research for this I found since I have the Quarda Lift suspencion I cannot lift my car. I'm aware that with the air-ride I have the option of OF1 and OF2 but I'm looking to really jack it up. So I was wondering it would be possible to swap my Air-Ride with a Coil system. Anyone have any ideas on it or if it is even possible.

Re: Air ride to Coil system

Anything is possible if you want to spend enough money. I think it would be less expensive to trade it for one without QL. I'd be interested to hear what some of the wrench turners her have to say about it.

33's and QL2 gives you over a foot of ground clearance and you can still get in and out easily. Any higher and you will need to start worrying about driveshaft angles. Springs though will give you better articulation which is lacking at full height.

Over a foot of lift and tons of tire rub lol. I haven't seen anyone run over a 275/55r20 with QL or 275/85/r18 (which can rub). Correct me if I'm wrong here.

I think you are wrong there...I'm running 285-35-22's on a '14 Overland w/QL and they do not rub at all.

Re: Air ride to Coil system

285/35r22's are two inches shorter in diameter than a 275/55r20. I have ran both of them so these are pretty accurate.

Specification
285/35-22 - 29.9in Diameter
275/55-20 - 31.9in Diameter
