Air to Coil conversion

Hello all, first time here.
Have a 2011 Overland with the Quadra-Lift. Having problems with the air suspension especially when it is below freezing outside...2 below zero at the moment. Rear collapsed today and the front collapsed a few months ago. The front came back up after a couple days of above freezing temperatures. Expect the same will occur eventually with today's collapse but in the meantime it is not very drive-able.

Does anyone make a kit to replace the air with coils? I've looked online and have come up blank.

Best Regards,
Paul

Re: Air to Coil conversion

This has been discussed a number of times. No, there are no kits that I'm aware of and it would be incredibly tedious and expensive to move from QL to traditional springs. It may be more cost effective to buy a different JGC that's already on traditional springs.

Re: Air to Coil conversion

I see that the air suspension is based on the same platform as the Mercedes Benz ML350. Any idea how close the two are...close enough to work?
Best Regards,
Paul

Re: Air to Coil conversion

The MY11-present JGC and Durango share the same "platform" as the former ML350 and there are some common components. But switching out the QL is not a trivial matter post manufacture. Even the shock mounts are different.
