Question Alignment or Steering Stabilizer or Both?

Hey folks I have a question. Ive got a 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.7 and I'm not sure what needs to be fixed/replaced. When driving on a smooth road like a highway the ride is nice, but it does pull to the right. When the road gets uneven like a crappy city street with deep ruts, the front end/steering seems to jump around and the ride gets incredibly rough. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Alignment or Steering Stabilizer or Both?

Check the tires, if they are worn funny this can cause the pull to one side.

As far as the jumping around, I would check/replace the tie rod ends and steering stabilizer are your biggest culprits. Worn tie rod ends can also cause the vehicle to pull to one side. Check the ball joints too, they could also cause a steering problem.
