I'm looking for the "LT" rated tire, reason being is reading the different reviews I haven't heard a lot of good things about the "P" rated tire.

Can anyone clarify this for me, please. I can't say this will be a deal breaker, but I just need a peace of mind on the "P" rated versus the "LT" rated tire.

Help again!!!
you'll want XL on the dynapros in that size, LT versions are usually 10 ply super heavy and stiff, and not really needed for the wk2 weight, P is fine.

Question Re: Another 275/55R/20 forum... I'm still confused

Sorry have to revive such an old thread. I am getting an '12 Overland and would also be interested in changing out the stock GY tires to some AT tires (I would love the Cooper Discoverer AT3). But as you all know there just aren't too many options out there for AT tires in size 265/50/20 (Nitto Terra Grappler is one exception). You will have more choice if you are looking into 275/55/20 instead and I know some people have successfully install those in their WK2 with extremely TIGHT fitting. I know they said it clears the wheel wells and strut/bolts but personally that just seems really TOO tight for me to have an easy sleep at night. So my question is what would be the thinnest spacer that one can install on the WK2 in order to give a 275/55/20 tire a bit more roomier clearance space?

the tires on the jeep from the rock and road pic above were standard on the 2013 trail hawk, the goodyear kevlar walled wranglers i 265 60 18. not yet at 13k miles and the fronts have worn considerably and now that the rear picked up a nail, i don't trust rotating it to the front without a repair.

but am on here readin about tires b/c i want something more aggressive in snow as these really only handle fresh powder and were terrible on ice or slush or deep snow.
