Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

Yes, I went with the Bora ones. There are pockets in the back of the 20 inch overland wheels I have and the rubicon wheels so they fit no problem. But they barely stuck out if at all from the spacers.

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

Just placed the order! 255/75/17 BFG KO2 from Amazon and Rubicon Wheels from eBay. It'll take me about a week to get pics up, but at least it's in the works!

I also have the leveling kit parts and TJ spacers riding shotgun until I can get to the shop.

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

I have a 2015 ecoDiesel and want to get a set of these wheels, do I need to get spacers to get these wheels to fit because of the HD brakes?

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

Anybody have pictures of Rubicon wheels with less aggressive tires on the WK2? Just curious what that would look like.

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

Is there a sure-fire way to find out if you have the HD brakes? I've read if you have the tow package, you have them. Then I've read if you have the Hemi you have them. Then I read people say they have the Hemi but no tow package and don't have them.

Also, if I do have the HD Brakes and Quadra-Lift, could I fit the Rubicon Wheels/Tires on with 1.5" spacers?

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

Easy way to tell is if you're rear brakes are vented (not solid), you have HD brakes.

And for another option, I went with a set of 18" Sahara rims, so I didn't have to worry about them fitting.

And this is the clearance on the front (rear has a mile with non-HD brakes)

So lets say I do have the HD brakes + Quadra-Life, do you know if it's possible to have Rubicon 17" Take-Offs with 1.5" spacers without any rub while also clearing HD Brakes?

Re: Another WK2 w. Rubicon Wheels

I'm not sure. I've heard it both ways. Some say you can, some say you can't, but I don't see why not. My tires are 32" and I can clear them in every ride height (even park mode) with no modifications. The 1.5" spacer should allow the Rubicon rims to clear the HD calipers unless the front HD brake is a larger diameter than the non-HD set. I know the rear HD calipers are the same diameter as non-HD, but they're wider to accommodate the vented rotor.
So long story short. I'm not completely sure, but I think that should work. Just a guess though.

Haha - So do you have the HD Brakes and Quadra-Lift? If so, what are you running?
