I put Goodyear wrangler Duratracs on already (245/75/17) and Im putting on pro comp 7005 wheels when the lift is installed. I really like the duratracs, I'm thinking a bigger size would have fit, but 4wheel parts said it wouldnt. I cant wait to get the lift installed. Sounds like yours will look good, curious to see what wheels and tires you go with. I'll post pics when I make some more progress.
Well, I guess the only solution is to become a more acive memember
I think you need 10 posts to PM.
Here is the response from RRO:
"Since the springs are inboard of the independent suspension, they do measure less than the lift height at the tire. Its not a 1:1 ratio since the springs are inboard.
Hope that makes sense... Glenn"
I didn't list the actual item measurements on purpose beacuse of proprietary reasons. RRO wouln't even share photos of the kit for fear of other companies copying it, that is wht the website only shows a lifted Jeep, the end product.
Ya, I am sure you could have fit slightly taller & wider tires, a 245/75r17 is a 31.47" x 9.65". The stock 265/60r18s are 30.52" x 10.43".
I hope to get the lift installed within the next few weekends, but between easter, birthdays, mother's day, weddings and bacheor parties I dont think I have a free wekened until July---yikes!
I am hoping to fit 275/60r20 (32.99 x 10.83) but we will see. A local guy is selling a set of used Pirelli Scorpion ATRs 275/55r20s (31.91 x 10.83) for $175. Might just get them to start.
