Anybody running 285's on stock 8" wheels?

I'm thinking about upgrading from my 18" polished to the OEM 20" polished wheels.

I believe the OEM 20's are 8" wide (same as my 18's).

The tires I like are either Toyo Proxes STII or Nitto 420s in 285/50/R20 (31.2" tall x 11.2" wide). I'm not worried about the height, but is 11.2" wide too much for the 8" wide OEM wheel?

Anybody running this size on their OEM 20's? Got pics?

Even if no pics, I would love to hear your thoughts.

You can fit 285/50 tires on 8J rims, the range of rims approved by ERTLO start from 8J to arrive to 10J, and the best wide is 9J.
In fact I fit on my Land Rover LR3 285/55-18 tyres on 8J OEM rims, and they fit good without any problems regarding the safety, but not perfectly because with 9J rims likely the handling will improve largely.
