...will have one installed for free. I have been trying to get Rocky Road to make a level kit based on their lift kit spacer design. They are interested in making it but need a donated WK2 for a week to engineer the kit. If you have a non QL WK2 that you could donate it would be appreciated and you can keep the kit when they are finished. Please contact them directly to schedule getting the work done.

Just wanted to put in my couple of sense, the tuff country spring spacer in my opinion is a waste, I purchased it and installed it. It did pretty much level the front of the vehicle with the rear after initial install but it settled and still had a rake of about 5/8 " or so and it gave it a deplorably stiff ride by compressing and bowing the springs out of shape. I purchased the Rocky Road kit and retained the strut top spacer plate from the tuff country kit cut the rear spacer down to 3/4 and installed it. The GC looks great, sits great and took a 265x75-17 with no issues. I also added 1 1/4 inch billet wheel spacers to flush the tires with the fender wells. When I can "FIGURE OUT" how to post pics "from my pc" I will do so. 2011 GC Inferno Red Laredo E.

Here's some pics,,, and I agree with 1 1/2 - 1 5/8 front lift to level w/o having to do anything to the rear and you'll still be able to fit the 33" or equivalent metric tire with wheel spacers. The GC is my wife's and she loves it, the TJ is mine it's an 06 X with the 4.0 6 speed, 4' Pro Comp lift with Goodyear Wrangler MTR 35x12.50 - 15

Sorry guys. Was out of town. They installed the prototype one last week. I would guess about 2 inches of lift up front. They are awesome to work with, and said it should be on their site in a week or two. Here are a bunch of pics they took of the installed lift.....

Looks real good, I see that it sits level, I originally did the front only with the RRO lift kit which measured up at 1.75 with the left over 3/16 from the Tuff Country strut spacer plate. Total lift up "FRONT" was just shy of a full 2". With a full tank of gas and under driving the back end squated a bit to far and that's why I opted to modify the rear of the RRO Kit and cut it down to .75 and added a few weeks later. So I'm thinking that the RRO "LEVELING KIT" kit is comprised of just the "FRONT" of their "LIFT KIT" of 1.75??. All of my measurement were done on a "drive on lift" level ground with 1/2 tank of gas. So with options like skid plates, tow pkg etc..... take some measurements and see where you want to be and what you're going to be using it for. I think it's great to see a company that is willing to re-do lift/leveling kits based on consumer wants. ot me thinking that I'm going to sell my Wrangler and do another GC....Great looking ride BTW

I agree it's a real PITA if it's just the front of their kit. The passenger side is a breeze so save that for last. If you do it first you'll start "smashing" thing's when you install the drivers side due to the shortened axle. I did mine on a garage lift and you will need a pry bar to pull down on the LCA and a an extra set of hands, trust me. Remember to lit the springs settle a bit before you start making measurements for the rear drive it a round a couple of days and then take some measurements. I'll post some more pics after I gas up this week with a full tank of gas and post 'em,

When you take the weight off the vehicle to pull the struts and put the lift kit on the springs will decompress a bit and it will sit a little higher as all vehicles do when the suspension droops. And the front of the kit at 1.75 or "1 3/4" for the standard measurment is what they're selling for the leveling kit, you can find it on their site. Remember to take some measurement before and you should have a slight rake to the nose of the vehicle. I think between .25 - .50 should be fine. if the back ends sqauts it'll tend to lift the front of the vehicle more at highway speeds decreasing mileage and changing the handling a bit.

I ordered mine too but not sure I want to tackle it. I put new springs on my 350z but after reading that thread I posted last page on the guy who did the lift I don't want to get stuck in the middle. It can't be as simple as throwing the spacer on top on the bolts can it. There can't be room for 1.75" spacer then be able to hook it back on without extending the bolts right?

That's what the kit is comprised of,, basically two strut tops welded on either end of three strut studs with new studs on top that bolt into the to wheel well. The rear end of their kit is a completely different approach. If you order the "leveling kit" only it shouldn't take you too long. The top of the framerail pinches together and you have about 1/8 that you can bend back out of the way to get the drivers side in easier. A small 2 1/2 pound sledge on the top of the frame rail lip works wonders for clearance. The passenger side is a breeze and you don't need to "modify" that side. Just reach your fingers up on top of the rail and you'll feel the lip. Good luck.
