Anyone try Raybestos performance pads?

You can't beat brembos if you want the ultimate Wk2 brakes.

Since I previously owned a VW touareg that had OEM brembos. I don't feel the need to add them to my present truck, honestly I wasn't all that impressed.

Whether you have standard Laredo brakes or the HD brakes from the tow pack they feel good until they wear past a certain point.

I have already did the HD upgrade and will say that they are a premium to stock standard Laredo brakes.

I was looking into some hawk pads to see if they could improve the HD brakes but I have personally used hawk pad and had the annoying squeal and read reviews about others that loved the friction but also had the squeal.

I was watching the "Power nation" on spike a few weeks ago and they showed the Raybestos 71 Camaro built by Schwartz performance.
They featured a new pad called the element3 that was a ceramic / semi metallic hybrid. I went to their site and found out they have that pad for the WK2/WD application. I also saw they have a police package pad that was a semi metallic compound.

According to the Raybestos site.

OEM WK2 pads are ceramic(no wonder they suck)

OEM SRT WK2 pads are semi metallic(no wonder they create more dust)

I am curious if anyone has tried the Element3 or Police Package pads on any vehicle?

edit: I guess I will find out for myself. Since both trucks are due for some new brake pads I ordered a front and rear set of both the Element3 and police package pads and new hardware.

The element3(hybrid ceramic- semi metallic) will go on the silver 2011 with standard brakes.

The police package(semi metallic compound) will go on the deep cherry 2012 with HD brakes.

I will give my impression of both when I install them.
