Are the rear springs different on load leveling shocks?

Just wondering if the rear springs are the same, regardless of if you have the towing pack or not.

Tow pack is a specific code that uses a unique spring and shock combo.

If you plan to lower the vehicle you will have to swap out the shocks because they are designed to maintain a specific height range.

Models equipped with SLS shock still have a slight rake.

Adding a spacer kit to the front will level the vehicle.

In my experimenting with SLS shocks and normal duty springs results will net you a 2.5" rise in the rear and a slighty stiffer ride.

I did speak with someone via chat at RRO and they told me it would be fine if the GC had the load leveling rear, but they didn't give me any technical information. You could probably call them to clarify. I'm in the same boat as you saw. I have 20" Load Leveling in the rear and looking to do the RRO leveling in the front. My two main concerns are will the car be level if there's a lot of weight in the back. I don't want the front going up and will there be enough room for off-road flexing with the 275/55/20.
