Re: Auburn Gear LSD for WK2

I wouldn't think that installing a LSD would affect the operation of the 'brake lock diff' or any other electronic do-dad that assists with traction. How would the electronics know? From what I understand, the current system uses the ABS system to detect wheel spin and to apply the brakes to the wheel with the least traction, and it works a treat. This ABS / traction control system is not tied into the diff, and so it shouldn't matter what diff you are running.

I think I read somewhere that the ring gear is welded to the diff on the stock vehicles so this may be a consideration when swapping them out.

Any news????

I think my standar Jeep Wk2 with QT with a rear locker, 2 inches lift and correct tyres could be the best machine for me.
