Help the newbie out, what is the difference between Quadr-trac II and Quadra-Drive II and what is the real life difference

Jeep.com has the answer. it even shows you a clip on how the system works. i believe the only difference is one you can put into low, and the other you can not.

both has a low range. the main difference between the two systems is Quadra-drive II has a rear limited slip differential and quadra-trac II does not.

yup, QD2 has the ELSD in the rear axle, QT2 doesnt. It's the same model transfer case though.

And, I believe you can only order QD2 with a QL system.... not sure why. At least this was true when I ordered in November. I wanted QD2 and couldn't get it unless I opted for QL - which I didn't want.

Thanks everyone, IT'S HERE . i got quadra-drive,

Rugged brown, summit 5.7. could not get adventure package,(restricted) so had dealer install the tow hooks and skid plates and swapped the 20"s for 18"s, all I am missing are the trail rated badges, I like sleepers anyways

Just what i wanted.

will have picks soon, was told only 4 rugged brown in Michigan
