BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 18s

I'm looking for reviews on the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 on 18 inch rims. I know the tire comes only in E loaded. How is the ride etc with the more beefy tires? I understand the applications the tire is designed for is off-roading, snow, etc I had them originals on my XJ but interested how the heavier rated tire rides on paved roads.

I've got E load range tires. They are surprisingly squishy for that weight range. I even have then aired up to 40 psi (even footprint across the pavement at that pressure).

It understeers like a sumbich, but hey, it's a fat SUV.

Re: BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 18s

Greetings,

Curious to know the mpg is on the highway with them?

I put a pair on the rears for the company work van last winter. I had no problem backing up on low slope driveways with a light snow.

Best for now.

Ya going a little different. Normally people go low profile with the SRT reps but I love the look of the KO2S. Cannot wait until Monday!

Re: BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 18s

Got them on today in 20's. Overall, I am very happy. Definitely noisier however not at all unbearable. Nothing the radio doesn't drown out.

I posted some pictures and some other thoughts here.
BFG KO2s 275/55/20 on Black Chrome SRT Reps

I would also say the ride is noticably harder but very minor.

Re: BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 18s

I've had the 265/60 R18s installed last week. Still trying to find the ideal PSI and starting to settle on 42. They are definitely noisy, but not horrible with the right pressure. As far as the ride goes, I have no complaints whatsoever. Seems like the tire has plenty of flex. It is good to have an aggressive tire on the SUV.

I'm running 37 psi right now. I don't have any complaints.
