BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2

Been trying to figure out what tire I want for my WK2 and stumbled across the T/A KO2 from BFG. Anyone have any experience with them?

Re: BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2

Had the original TA KO on my Silverado for 70k miles, great tires.

They have raised white letters on one side, black on the other. They are reversible.

Thanks, why can't they just state that in the chart. Says RWL.

Just put a set of 285/65/20 KO2s on the Ram on Friday so too early to tell but will see how they compare to the 275/65/18 Duratracs on the Grand Cherokee as winter creeps in

It's quite common for tires to have one side with raised white letters (RWL) and the other side is all black.

These tires are awesome BTW. They're a little heavier than some other all terrain tires, so you may want to factor that in to your decision.

They're great. Expect a little bit of road noise/tire noise. Nothing like mudders, but more than stock. Easily tolerable, I'd say.

All-Terrain T/A KO2 | BFGoodrich Tires
Greetings,

I heard that these BFG answer to compete against the GY Duratrac's. From the spec's the tread depth is 1/32 less than the GY. The new BFG's now have improved siping and shoulder blocks for the deep stuff, plus the winter mountain flake symbol.

I am sure others who have them already will chime in about the gripping power.

Best for now.

Re: BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2

Does anyone know how the E loaded Ko2 will feel on the WK2? I have the C loaded old KOs on my XJ and WJ. They were both great. I am a little scared to get an E loaded tire as I keep hearing it will kill the ride. It makes me want to get the Duratracs because of this.

I'm curious to hear your review against the Duratracs. Those are two of the three tires I'm eyeing as winter starts creeping in.

Nitto came out with the Exo Grappler that seems to be their version of the tire, but I haven't found anyone on here running those yet.
