Bigger tires with diablosport i-1000-dcx

I emailed diablosport asking if they had fixed the issue with the abs light coming on when changing tire size. Got an email today saying that it's fixed. Figured I would let people know.

What was said in email.

We have a test update made from the testing we did last week that resolves the issues.

Thanks for this info. I would love to change my tire size with my DCX but I want someone who's done it to confirm it doesn't throw the ABS light first. I recently updated my DCX online with the latest software update but am too gun shy because of the headache I'll get if it doesn't go smoothly.
Anyone? Bueller??

I am still deciding on tires. I am looking at going 285/60-18 or 285/65-18 toyo AT II's. But I still need lift first.

Did you use a tire larger then the recommended size for jeep?

Went from stock 17 size, P245/70/17, to stock 20 size, 265/50/20. Punched the new size into the Diablosport and all is well. I know the overall size is similar but its not causing any warning lights.

It shouldn't matter cause you used a stock recommended size. It matters when say that the stock size 265/60-18 I have and I want to jump to a 285/65-18 which is a 6% difference the tire is big enough to change speedometer and that would throw the abs light on if I changed it with tuner.

Really?? That wouldn't be the first time the people at Diablosport claimed that issue was fixed........only to be lying about it AGAIN!

I looked and that looks like with problems with the trinity programmer. I'll look some more in the intune section later after work.

You won't find anything different there! Same unaddressed ABS light issues with the Intune tuning platform!

http://www.diablosport.com/forum/search.php?keywords=intune+abs+light

I believe both tuner platforms use the same Diablosport firmware the Trinity just has more features than the Intune.

Re: Bigger tires with diablosport i-1000-dcx

I went threw the forums and I've read older post about it but nothing stating about after I had emailed them. Not saying that either of us are right or wrong just until someone confirms it doesn't throw the abs light by changing to larger tires I guess we won't know. I was hoping to get my wheels and tires before winter but looks more like next year.
