Biggest tire without rubbing

Recently purchased a 1.75in Leveling kit for my 2014 GC. Currently have 265/60/18 on it. Looking into the BFG All Terrain or the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Curious to see how much bigger of a tire I can get without any rubbing?

Re: Biggest tire without rubbing

OEM tires are 30.6" in diameter. "Generally", 32" is the limit without issues, but it's very much dependent on the tire width and tread at the edges.

And if you upsize, don't forget you also have to upsize your spare diameter, too...all four tires in use must be the same diameter within a "proverbial hair" due to the 4x4 drivetrain.

I wonder how many times Jim has copy and pasted that response.

Re: Biggest tire without rubbing

So a 275/65/18 should work just fine without rubbing?

Re: Biggest tire without rubbing

As noted, if it's not bigger than 32", it "should" work...
