You cannot. You set the height before install and you stay there, or you Uninstall and redo.

alludc,

Very impressed with your set up! I have a 2013 WK2 Laredo that I recently purchased and am planning out my build. I keep coming back to your set up as the look I want. Did you do the install yourself or have a shop do it? I'm in SE Mesa by the way... not very mechanically inclined so will plan on having a local shop do it.

Thanks for all the detailed write ups and photos.

Thanks!
I let absolute offroad handle the install on my 15. they are north valley and Jason is a good dude if you dont mind the drive. The wk2 is picky, and not that easy to work on front suspension. just choose a shop carefully.

Sounds good. I'll check them out. I don't mind driving for the peace of mind of having it done right. Did you order all of your parts through them or did you order ahead of time and bring the parts there for install?

Re: Bilstein 5100 + RRO 2.5" lift completed.

I'm amazed you haven't had your upper ball joints fail with this setup because I measured droop travel before and after installing the Bilstein 5100s and I got 2" more droop travel with them. If you are running the bilsteins with the RRO spacers that would mean you could extend your wheel 4.5" further. Maybe not if you still have your sway bars on. I took mine off. I'm glad to hear you haven't had any problems. The sway bars might be saving you.

Also I set my Bilsteins at 1.25" of lift and it leveled the vehicle perfectly. I almost did the 1.75" setting but I'm glad I didn't because my front would have been higher than the back.

yea, no intention of pulling my sways off. Between this site, and the FB groups I can think of at least 35 guys running the rro+5100 setup already and we're all doin good.

Re: Bilstein 5100 + RRO 2.5" lift completed.

I saw your list of mopar OEM items that are needed to switch out the load leveling shocks to the bilstein 5100s... is there a specific bilstein part # for the wk2 or am I just looking for the standard 5100 adjustable height shocks for the front? Hope that makes sense.

I think your sway bar may very likely be limiting your travel. If you ever get a chance, measure from your rim to the fender with your vehicle raised. Maybe lift it from one side or the center and see if you get a difference. Then you can compare to my numbers. With the Bilsteins and sway bars off I get 13.5" from 20" rims to the fender on the front. On the rear, I get 13 3/8". This should help you understand how your suspension is functioning. I'd be interested in hearing your numbers.

When it comes to vehicles, there is only one thing I like more than horsepower and that's suspension, especially wheel travel. Sway bars have their advantages, but you don't get to utilize all that wheel travel as easily or sometimes at all.

But with a RRO 2.5" lift there would probably be a lot of body roll and for anyone whose wife drives the car with their kids inside, definitely don't remove the sway bars.

Re: Bilstein 5100 + RRO 2.5" lift completed.

Remember I got an additional 2" of droop travel on the fronts and .25" in back so if you jack up your jeep and don't get about 2.5" more than that, then your suspension is being hung up by the sway bar, and if you do get 2.5" more then that and aren't having issues then that would mean we can safely extend the fronts 4.5" further than stock without damaging the CVs and ball joints which would be really great to know.
