I promised a few members I would upload some pictures of my Summit with new Black Chrome SRT Replicas and Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico tires. The Replicas are 20x10 and the tires are 295/45-20.
Very, very nice looking. I wish i had the $$ to get a summit or overland instead of the limited.I promised a few members I would upload some pictures of my Summit with new Black Chrome SRT Replicas and Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico tires. The Replicas are 20x10 and the tires are 295/45-20.
Thanks, I appreciate the support. Yes, you're right! For the price of the Summit, it should have come with 20x10/295.Hard to argue about how much better these look with wider set tires and this is a great example. I think it brought your Summit up to the level it should've come off the lot with.
Well done.
Funny...right again! Please post some pics when you get the new 285's.*side note: I already can't wait to get rid of my sad 265's for some 285's in the future. So many mods, not enough time or money.
So far, I haven't really paid close attention to mpg. I'm going on a road trip in a couple weeks and will let you know if I see any difference.Looks great TMan! love them wide tires. Have you notice any mpg loss?
This configuration should work on the Overland. I don't believe there are any differences in wheel well clearance.Total n00b, but I assume this setup would work on the overland as well, right?
Did you get the wheels/tires as a package, or just the wheels alone?
Thanks for the compliment, sixxshooter. The offset is +50, and yes, offset does make a difference. If the offset is too small, the wheels will stick out too far and look ghetto. The +50 offset coupled with the 10" wide wheels is close to the edge. If the offset were much less with the 10" wheel, they would stick out too far.Looks awesome ! I also have a 2014 summit . I'm looking to do the same configuration . Do you know what the off set is on these srt replicas ? Does it make a difference ? It seems like and offsett will work with these jeeps from I'm reading . You should get oem red mirror covers . That would put this truck over the top .

Nice looking Summit, sixxshooter! The mirrors look great and love the color! I was never really a fan of the chrome mirrors...kinda pushed the Summit over the edge when it comes to the amount of chrome on the vehicle. As you might know . You have to buy the whole dam mirror to get the colored covers . They only sell chrome mirror covers separate. TASCA parts center was where I got mine .
First thing I did was get a base jeep Laredo vin# with the color of my jeep which was black pearl . Then I called the dealer ship and got a quote . They wanted $230 and 220 bucks for the left and right mirrors . I laughed and hung up the phone . Tasca parts has them for about $155 and 150 . I know its a lot but I'm not plasti dipping a summit jeep . I'm sorry . Just make sure you get the base Larado mirrors . The summit mirrors are like $700 bucks a piece . View attachment 40892

Thanks MDBones. Yeah, these are nice as well. I considered the 5 spoke when looking but ended up going with the 2011-2012 SRT style. With the amount of chrome on the Summit, I wanted the black chrome to tone things down just a bit.Your wheels look very sharp on your Summit.
I was looking around on the vendor sites and I also like these in black chrome...
Jeep - Grand Cherokee SRT Wheels
And for an Overland style...
Jeep Grand Cherokee OEM Wheels
I could have switched out the caps with the ones from the factory wheels, but instead used the ones that came with the new wheels...yeah, they came with the wheels. I wasn't expecting that. What do you do for center caps?

All is holding up well! I still love the wheels and tires, but will soon be switching back to the factory 20's for winter. I'm debating on whether I should get some new winter rubber to replace the Forteras...perhaps with Nitto Terra Grapplers. How's everything holding up bro ?? Did you ever get the Red mirror covers ?

Yeah, I get that, but it would be worth it to me. Besides, I got the employee discount on the Summit, so it won't be too bad. I haven't decided if I want to trade the Summit in or deal with selling it myself. You wanna buy it?Your going to take a huge hit if you trade in for the SRT but I have to admit that I always think about it myself . At least you got the hemi . I got the V6 . I love the 6 but I do miss the hemi torque .
