I initially bought the Ventus but two of them wouldn't balance so went to Yokohama Parada's which were the same price.

I didn't want to say anything, but I felt the same way when you posted the pics. I feel like the black chrome didn't match anything on your Summit and I hate the fact that Jeep painted the bottom of the car gray. I still need to get my lower valences painted white to match like you did. Then I figured the polished or chrome goliaths were the way to go to get a nice wide 5-spoke, but still match everything on the jeep.

And yes, I think the black chrome SRT wheels (either type) would be perfect for the High Altitude and I can't believe it hasn't been done yet.

Oh yeah its no problem, I knew they didn't look right but still wanted to post it up especially since I don't think there was any other Summit with them. These wheels would be so amazing on the High Altitude, but the only problem I have with that is the SRT wheels/tires are insanely heavy!! like closer to double the weight of the stock non-srt wheels!! You can feel the extra weight on everyday driving and especially at the pump. That was with my Hemi Summit, wouldn't even consider them on a V6 Grand Cherokee. The good thing is I really like the stock HA wheels, with spacers they can have similar stance as how the SRT wheels would.

Or you could just pony up and buy a SRT. I hate people adding on all the stuff to make their vehicle look like something it isn't. It's like a Honda Civic with an add-on R badge. Silly.

Ehh I don't necessarily agree with that. For example when I bought SRT wheels I never once had intentions of making my car come off as an SRT. I liked the styling of the wheels, the color, the offset..etc etc. I'm also not a fan of aftermarket wheels, so I don't see the harm in adding wheels from a different model of the same vehicle.
Now adding a badge for a car you don't have is IMO nothing like this, and yes that is down right wrong. As far as ponying up and just buying one, well not everyone can or wants to pay 60k+ on a new vehicle, or 50k for a used 2014 with 20,000+ miles. I think the High Altitude was the perfect answer for those that want a reasonably priced Grand Cherokee with a little more sporty/aggressive look.

Well said ...I also liked some aspects of the SRT which is why I added them to my Altitude. I have no desire to buy an SRT and would never try to pass it off as one.

Queue my forum stalker who will point out I had a Blackhawk badge on my Jeep.

Thanks for your input... As said above, some of us can't swing a $70k SUV and don't want to pay $60k for something used.

Sorry that someone changing the wheels on their Jeep hurts your feelings.

I've been leaning toward black chrome wheels for my HA. Has anyone seen these against a Blacked out ride?

I haven't seen pics yet, but I bet a HA would look reeaaalll good with SRT black chrome goliaths or spider monkeys. Would match perfectly since the HA comes with black chrome accents.

Badass rides right there! Do the wheels come with black chrome lugs or do we have to powder coat some new ones?

Good point and one that evokes some emotional opinions. OEM is chrome lugs and chrome center caps and IMHO black or black chrome would look wrong...I've seen it and it totally makes the rim dull looking...it's weird, the chrome lugs and center cap actually are not bright due to the surrounding black chrome rim reflecting on them and they provide just enough contrast to make the rim really pop...
