Black Wheel options ?

Hi guys...

I bought a 2011 Laredo X a few weeks ago for my wife. Black on black, with the 5.7. It's our third GC, and we're very happy with it so far.

I want to replace the stock wheels with some aftermarket ones. I'm having trouble finding all black rims....most have some chrome or aluminum accents. Can anyone recommend a wheel?

Thanks.

An 18x9 wheel with +12 offset will stick out 1.7" farther than stock. I too am looking for a good black wheel. So far, the closest to factory 56.4 offset is the XD series Monster wheel with 35mm and it's an 18x9. I am concerned about any significant changing of the scrub radius, offset, and impact on the wheel bearings, contact patch, and handling.

You have found the only all black wheel that even comes close to being near the correct +56mm offset. Every other aftermarket wheel I've found for a WK2 has an incorrect offset. Most of these wheels are made for JK Jeep wranglers as the aftermarket does not seem to actually make or support any wheels specifically for 2011+ WK2's! Many of these wheels will bolt up, but not look right, nor with they perform correctly as they all stick out significantly from the wheel wells. No one seems concerned that they are mounting the incorrect wheels on their 2011+ Grand Cherokees.

I tend to agree with rushdriven, a little more outboard wheel due to less offset looks nice on the WK2 and gives it perhaps a more stable footprint. The stock setup is tucked in pretty far from the wheel wells. Less offset also gives room for a wider tire and even some dish to the wheel design if so desired.

There are other threads here showing the WK2 with some great looking aftermarkets. I believe 4thcherokee had the Rhino wheels, which looked killer. There are others.

OP, you can also opt to plastidip or paint your stock wheelset as a first try, there are also threads/photos here with good outcomes.

Even though you tend to agree with rushdriven, I see you have chosen the Mopar black accessory wheels, 18X8 with the proper 56.4mm offset. These wheels were designed for the 2011+ Grands, when will the aftermarket start to make something for us, not the Wrangler crowd?

I think we had calculated at the local offroad shop that I would need at least a 30 offset on a 9 in width wheel. I've been searching for a wheel that wont rub or need to be spaced with my 275/65 terra grapplers.

ugh.. well.. it's at least hard to find one that i like..

Not all black like you are asking but they should look good on a black jeep. :D
18x8 with a 50mm offest..close enough to 56
