Break Squeal

3 month old Brembo calipers and rotors. HPS STREET BRAKE PADS... They are squealing at slow speeds and without pressing the pedal. Not always but occasionally... Even when I back up. It's coming from the left rear. Could it be the emergency brake pads? It does squeal occassionally when I press the pedal also.

Re: Break Squeal

I think there was a TSB for the SRT guys on this. Might want to look that up and see how they remedy it

if it is in reverse as well, you may have to adjust the Ebrake like you said. when you swap out rotors/ calipers/ pads in the back, you should always readjust the eBrake. I just had to do that on my daughters 3 series after putting new pads and rotors on. It squeaked backing up.

Also, pull the caliper bolts out, take out the pads, regrease the pads and put it back together. could be the pad is off sitting in the caliper or the clip is loose.
