Brembo in WK2 Overland?

SRT8 will come with Brembo front and rear.
Someone knows if the Brembo stuffs will be fitted on the Overland?
I think will be useful mods...

Re: Brembo in WK2 Overland?

Are you asking if they will come stock on the Overland or if they will fit (for a potential mod)?

If the first, not a chance. If the second, I wouldn't be surprised at all, but it might take more than just calipers.

Re: Brembo in WK2 Overland?

Franco, I think Scottina or another JG vet did a Brembo addition to a WK. I'd guess it would require some upgrades to brake lines, fitments, and maybe master cylinder, not sure.

I'm pretty sure it was a pricey upgrade. He had To change a lot of things in the system

That would be me and it took the srt8 spindles, brake lines and hardware for the front. The rear needs the adapter plates, brake lines and hardware. You would have check the bolt spacing on the 2011 and then compare it to the brembos.

Re: Brembo in WK2 Overland?

well...the 2012 SRT8 has the same brembos as the 06-10. You can pick up a complete set of brembos from the 300, Jeep, charger etc. Then buy the rotors from the SRT Jeep. The problem you may run into...as stated above....is the bolt spacing on the calipers. If its different(and they look to be to me)...that can be solved by some CNC machined adapters.
