Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT2 in 275/65-18

I've been on an ongoing quest to find an AT tire that has great on road wet and snow traction and good off road performance.

After trying a number of tires, I finally found the Revo AT (now AT2) and have been very happy for many years and a number of vehicles.

Each time I buy, I take a look to see if anything better has come out. This time the competition was the Goodyear Duratrac.

In the end I decided to stick with the Revos mostly because I trust the dual compound rubber will stick in the wet and perform until they are ready to be replaced.

I got a set in 275/65-18 (32.1"). Everything clears, but clearly 32" is pretty much max.

(poor pics for now)

I have a set of 1.25" spacers on order as I wish to have the option of running snow chains.

For the spare I got 255/70-18, which "fit", although I don't think you can latch the hatch. Close enough for me, but might bother some. I also wanted to point out the little "corner" trays won't fit with this spare.

I'll try to get decent pics when I get the spacers on.

Nice! Air suspension or coils? Is the 255 the same diameter as the 275's?

Quadralift. To run chains I'm going to have to run in a higher setting. Pics are in "normal" setting.

Yah, the 255 is exactly the same diameter, just skinnier.

Who makes spacers to lift the Quadra lift?

Hi John,

Have you noticed any rubbing at all with these tires? And did you get the spacers in?

Thanks,
Roy

No rubbing so far. Spacers just came in Friday, didn't manage to get them on this weekend.

Re: Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT2 in 275/65-18

Good to know, thanks. I will go with 32" when my OE Forteras wear out. Let us know how the spacers work out with chains. I realize that might be a while still.

Re: Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT2 in 275/65-18

I finally got around to putting the spacers on. Looks good and I don't see a change in clearances other than the control arm which now has a lot more breathing room.

The spacers look good, man. 100% visual improvement over the stock stance in my opinion.

Do you think a set of 285/65R18s would fit with level kit and 1" wheel spacers? NITTO has them at 32.83 overall diamter on their site.

Re: Bridgestone Dueler Revo AT2 in 275/65-18

Pay more attention to the specific mfg specs for the model instead of the P size. The P size suggests only a modest size increase over mine, but the measurement is .83 taller than mine (significantly taller).

Normally anything over 32" is flirting with rubbing, but the level kit may make it OK.

I think feedback from others with the leveling kit would be your best bet.
