Just looking for some info here. I've got a 2014 limited and I'm looking to add some color accent regarding the calipers. I've had the MGP covers and I really tried to like them, even going as far as painting out the fake bolt heads. In the end, even though I liked the red accents, I didn't feel right about the covers. I'm trying to decide whether to paint the calipers to get the look back, but I'm thinking about a couple of things and wanted some opinions. The correct way to my mind is to remove the anti rattle clips and not paint the back of the brake pads. I also want to be careful not to get paint in the notch that the pads slide on. That would leave just the caliper itself and the bracket painted. I'm thinking that this may actually make the rears look kind of dinky (I'm sure that they are adequate, but they are rather small). If I painted the whole assembly, it would look bigger and probably better from a distance, but that doesn't seem like the proper way to do it. Maybe unless the calipers are a legit upgrade, they're better off not accented.Thoughts anyone?
