Thanks for sharing this - did you do the "pinch weld" mod?

Aren't the bushwhackers supposed to give approx. 1/2" of clearance on the well too?

I wish we had an alternative to bushwackers

such as these from all the Mopar concept WK2s

I hear ya. I'm trying to replicate those 3 concepts to a degree, but wish Jeep had at least offered the flares. Picked up a set of bushwackers that I'm considering filling the bolt areas since they're only cosmetic.

That was honestly my thought (to get bushwackers and modify them)

So, here is the deal about these concept vehicles. My buddy so happens to be the designer of the WK2 at Chrysler... (cool guy) and I asked him about these flares and he said they made 1 set and used that set for all 3 of these concepts. I asked if he could get his hands on them and said no can do.

Yeah I figured they were one-off's and after studying photos they looked identical. Know which concept came first? I'd really like to know what (and how) exactly they did to modify the front SRT fascia on the Trailhawk to up the approach angle. Is the bottom (black area) all custom?

Wish we could get the mold they were made in and make a bunch more.

I have a Laredo without QL - can I do this without a lift or leveling kit? I am willing to accept a little rubbing at full turn

Thank you in advance

I'm running a new set of LT275/65R18 BFG AT KO2s on stock 18x8 Mopar wheels with zero rub lock to lock.

Hey - can you chime in over at this new thread regarding this:
Who is interested in an aftermarket fender flare alternative?
