Not sure why your salesperson is saying it "is scary". Maybe they want to get you into something else?

You don't have QL its different than the standard/loadlevel suspension noises. This is a completely different issue and much worst.

Regardless of which side of acceptability you are on, does this pose a reliability issue with the QL? I hear it all the time off-road and understand it's hitting the bump stops, but will this cause the QL to fail prematurely? I'm sure it's not good for it, but just wondering how bad.

2014 jgc eco diesel, been to dealer umpteen number of times always keeping it for at least two weeks. Cat had to be replaced, no fix for rear suspension noise. Front suspension creeks like a rusty gate. Now there is a injector issue. I've had enough - 50k pile of crap. Patiently waiting for 2016 porsche macan diesel

- Oh well then, if your Jeep has problems but your "buddy" has an Explorer with a few miles and no issues, and there's an old beater Ford at work that drives OK then that's clear evidence that Ford is great.

The fact that you're admiring that cheap copy of the Range Rover sport makes me wonder why you got a GC at all.

I thought he only had 6 k on it......almost 25,000 km....double mine and not been back to the shop! My GC has been in the shop 8...or is it nine times and the shake/steering is almost good. And....just got another 'invitation' to reprogram the steering control module. And it just started 'rattling' in reverse.
The 'old' Fords (over 50...and I randomly get one assigned on a 2 week basis] at work are no more than 4 years old

I'm certainly not saying Ford is 'great'...but, apparently they put a little more effort into getting their product ready for public consumption BEFORE putting it on the market.

Believe me....I'm wondering that too!
