I currently have Bridgestone Dueller Alenza 275 55 20 on my 20011 JGC, my tread life is close to done 3,4,6, and 6 of tread life left...My question or from your experience ...I'm deciding between the Cooper Discvery H/T PLUS or Falken Ziex S/TZO4..My driving in Va..can and has thrown curves with the weather.

I have never went off road ...Chances I won't ...I want a chunky side wall yet ...performance....The Bridgestones was good for me:thumbsup: .....I have also looked at the "Goodyear Eagle Sport All season..."

Cooper $165
Falken $ 164
GoodYear $190

Any advice is welcome Thanks ....I will post post the upgrades that I have made over the last year ...Old Photo lol :D

I am currently running on the Cooper 285 50 20 Discoverer HT Plus tires, great on sand, dirt roads, tar etc, not happy with them in the wet, have 4 wheel drifted at about 75km per hour on a slight left hand bend and have lost confidence in them on wet roads, they also loose traction easy in the wet.

I previously had Kuhmo KL21 ( stock), they were very good in wet conditions, because of the above I have been looking at getting some Falken or similar also.

Greetings,

With all the curve balls Va. got this winter and you never know anymore with the East coast weather, I would go with the Cooper's. The Cooper tire compound is a little softer which is extremely important when the winter mix combo hits (snow, slush, freezing rain and ice). The grip will be better in the lower temperatures.

Best for now.:)
