Could you see this wheel with off road tires.

I like this wheel a lot. My plan is a 20x9 wheel but kinda want to run a terra grappler tire. Or should I just stick with a street tire.

If you want a more aggressive look then go with the grapplers. I am a big fan of those tires.

I like the aggressiveness of the TG's but don't like the heavy look of all the wheels available. Granted the color would be different as it would be a titanium powder coat with maybe a brushed outer lip.

Re: Could you see this wheel with off road tires.

You may want to check prices on those, they are very expensive forged wheels ($1100-1200 ea.), also load rating may be marginal for the GC, considering it weights 5200lbs before cargo and passengers and trailer load. The load rating (usually about 2000lbs per wheel) are part of the heavy look you see to the truck styles.

Take a look at the XD Addicts. They don't look as "heavy" as some other wheels but still have a nice aggressive look that will compliment the TG's.

Re: Could you see this wheel with off road tires.

I am familiar on the price of the wheels. I've been looking at of 20x10 and 20x11 forgelines for my '10 Camaro SS which might be these wheels if I don't get them for the jeep. You have a point on the luck of truck wheels. Got me thinking.

Personally I wouldn't spend that much on wheels, when I could get a four wheels and new rubber for the cost of just one of those then spend the rest on other mods. But if you can spend it and want to, more power to you. I just know my wheels are going off road and going to get curb rash, so I would drop to much on them.

For the XD's what offset cause I am not finding an offset that fits the jeep. I kinda like the XD Hoss.

I don't recall off hand. I know a couple folks run them on their lifted WK's without spacers, so they want a different offset from stock.

Re: Could you see this wheel with off road tires.

Might look odd with aggressive tread on those dainty spokes. But I also think 20s in general look weird with offroad tires unless theyre like 37s or 40s. Id stick with street tires if youre gonna go with 20s.

Love your idea of PCing em with the brushed lip though, Im loving metallic colors on wheels right now. Anything thats not chrome or black is cool with me. I feel like chrome makes em look outdated by a decade and black looks dated by 3 or 4 years...they are everywhere.

Yeah with the XD's only coming three styles sucks. I could PC them to a color I like.
