Yes that has to be park setting, you can only trick the air suspension into lowering so much otherwise you get error messages and the compressor will run constantly when lowering and give cool down messages.

So I ordered everything and finally got to cutting and assembling the links today. I want to give a shoutout to JTS97Z28 who really helped me by answering questions during this process. I am happy with the install. See attached pictures. the worst part of the entire process is using a hack saw to cut the threaded rod. It was an extremely easy mod. See attached before and after pictures.

[EDIT]: Standard Mode: Rear dropped 3/4" Front dropped 1-1/4"

Yup. Looking great. Incidentally, run out and get yourself a Dremel tool with the cutting discs. Probably one of the handiest tools in my garage. Makes cutting bolts, rods, etc extremely easy. Worth the price even if you use it only a few times a year.

Re: DIY homemade air suspension links. Install with pics!

Hi Guys,

Has anyone got the links working on a '16 model?

Just bought a 05/16 GT OL. I agree they would look a lot better lowered.

I read here, the '16 model factory links are straight and earlier models are curved. Is this correct?

If so, had a look under the front guard and mine are curved. So will the links work?
