Love my Zeon. Got 38k all highway out of them. Good is snow. Now trying Mastercraft Courser AXT. Almost same tread pattern as Cooper AT3 (Mastercraft is made by Cooper), but slightly softer compound which means won't be as hard in cold temperatures. So far, more quiet on highway than Zeon, nice tread pattern with a fair amount of sipes and deep wide lugs to clean tires, and good in snow.

Obviously some handle it better than others. The Zeon's were like rollerskating on ice. The compound is just too hard.

My coworker has the Duratracs and he had no issues.

DaMitsuMan, have the Duratracs significantly affected your fuel economy compared to the stock Goodyear Forteras?

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

Installed the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 275/55R20 last week and love them so far. Road handling feels better than the stock Forteras and traction is a big improvement on icy/snowy roads. Road noise is a bit more noticeable, but nothing unexpected with switching to an A/T tire. Cannot comment yet on mpg loss as I haven't driven enough; slight loss is expected (heavier tire with more rolling resistance over stock) (larger diameter than stock will cause computer to report lower than actual miles driven / mpg / etc). Comparing to BFG A/T KO on a different ride, I like these better and would buy again.

Not too much. I haven't been above 15 mpgs with any of my tires. I would say I'm about the same as stock. The love and look of the tire definitely out weighs the difference.

That's good then...especially with the Duratracs weighing in at 47lbs versus the OEM Forteras at 34lbs.
