My dealer said they would do it, I asked how much $400 estimate, LOL. That's defiinitely pricey.

Funny thing I called a very respected 4x4 shop who said he will not put a lift or a level on the newer GCs. I asked him why and his response was "I like to sleep at night" I didn't have time to discuss it further, but he did not want my business. I'm going to continue the conversation since I'm ready to get this done and I'll see if I can find out more details. So I got a 4x4 shop who won't do it and a dealer who wants to do me a favor and do it for $400.

Although I'll talk the dealer down since I've purchased several Jeeps there.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

That's a great look, pinetar, nice. Definitely more capable with those tires. With my 20s I'll have to do the best I can with larger AT tires when the Forteras wear out, but I won't get as much sidewall height as you have.

Some people add the level or lift for various reasons. Lots do it for visual impact and others actually use it functionally as well. A ~2" lift will only do so much for us though.

And like I said, you will have to do some research on your own. You can fit the 275/55 with or without the level or lift, most likely.
I do have the tow package, but I swear it looks level to me!

We still have to upload elsewhere to post pix here???

But others have gotten lucky with bigger sizes... ie: 285/55/20 hankook dyna pro a/t (this guy right at the top the of thread)
Wow, I see that 285/55 now.

Discount Tire said they'd put on whatever I want, and we can test them for rubbing, etc. I don't want them mad at me for trying too many, though, as I'm in and out of there fairly often. ha!

Wow. Weird what the 4x4 shop said.

My Jeep place said "We haven't done a lift on one but would love for yours to be the first." Me = uh, I think I'll pass.

Thanks! Now I just need to get it out on some trails. 😃

Hollister Hills is looking pretty good right now too. Hoping I'll have the time to make the trip, especially now with the new parts.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

Anyone running this size on 20x9 +35 offset wheels in QL?? Local discount tire is taking my poorly wearing falken rocky mountains back for $135 a tire and ordering me a set of duratracs...couldn't pass up the deal. Hoping for no rub.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

Installed 275/55/20 duratracs on 20x9 +35 offset Srt reps today. There is only a small amount of rubbing on the black plastic fender where it attaches to the felt liner when in park height. No other rubbing or touching at any other setting. These definitely look way meaner than the falken rocky mountains they replaced. Looking forward to not needing to swap to dedicates winter wheels and tires.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

Bumping an old thread, sorry. I plan on installing 275/55/20s on my 2014 Overland. Ive read on this thread that a good number of people run that with no issues, even while QL is lowered. Sounds good to me. I do have one question though. Has anyone run spacers with this setup to give it a little more poke? I like the wide look. But I am also biased, own a 2015 JK on 35s.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

This is also my plan within next few weeks. Putting the WRANGLER DURATRAC
275/55R20 on my 14 Overland. After searching around on here it seems the fit shouldn't be an issue. I am waiting for the 1.25" spacers to come in the mail too, can't wait!

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

This is also my plan. Duratrac 275/55/20 on stock 20 inch wheels with a RRO level kit on my 14 limited.

Re: Duratrac wrangler 275/55/20

If I can fit these Duratracs in 275/55-20 on my 2014 with QL and no spacers (also no leveling kit), then it'd be great. This might be the way I go. I like the tire from what I've read so far. I also like the 16/32" tread depth (https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires...BCardTireImage).

Not sure yet if small spacers will be needed but if so I'd consider that - maybe 1/2". I'm still reading, trying to find my next tires. I'm also working through the 20" thread over on the export forum - 20" Tyre Thread.

ETA: I have QL, so I couldn't use a leveling kit even if I wanted to according to RRO.
