e-brake light on, but brake isn't

2012 Overland 5.7L

Anyone have this happen? It resets after I turn the car off. After driving for a few minutes it appears and remains on.

Not on a WK2, but I once had this happen on another vehicle. The cause in that case was low brake fluid. Perhaps unlikely in your case, but it's a quick check to rule it out.

I had the same thing happen on my 2011. The e-brake was never on and the brake fluid was at the right level. Ended up the brake booster failed and was causing the light.
