Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

Just ordered the newly announced lift kit from Eibach for my 2012 Grand Cherokee 5.7L w/Tow Pkg. Eibach part 28107.980. Kit advertises 2.0" of lift up front and 0.5" of lift out back. Should be installing next week and will post up some before and after pictures.

Re: Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

Great to hear! I have been debating on Rocky Offroad vs. Eibach vs. Old Man Emu (ARB); obviously Rocky's is the cheapest but quality .... IDK

Re: Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

Just based on what the kits are providing, RRO is the cheapest for obvious reasons because it's only a spacer lift vs the other two being full suspension lifts.

I'd take the full suspension kits any day over some pieces that sit on top of the stock springs. But that comes with a cost obviously.

My question is whether the OME kit is worth the extra $ when they (OME & Eibach) are probably almost identical in performance. Old Man Emu just has the run on the lift market and Eibach is fairly new to it, so that may be the cause of the price difference.

Re: Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

My ex-boss offered me this Eibach kit brand new for $700. Is it a no brainer, or are they not tested enough yet?!?

I have yet to find anyone but one 16yr old that has it installed

Hrm...Is it not as cool because of their age? Not sure why that's relevant.

And there are quite a few people here who've installed the kit already. Search finds them very quickly.

Re: Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

pinetar, it drives awesome so far, better than stock. I'm thinking about adding some bwoody performance sway links soon to stiffen up the handling through corners, but couldn't be happier with the kit.

Right on. Glad to hear good things about this kit.

I think it may be my next and final decision on my suspension mod.

Re: Eibach All-terrain Lift Kit

King shocks are about to drop their coil over 2.5''(diameter)for the front end. adjustable from stock height to about 2 3/4'' height They are sending me a set in the next few weeks, so i can determine what spring rate(s) i will use and figure out valving profiles for different stages ppl might want(aggressive , etc)

I have the rear coils being made right now by the biggest coil manufacturer in the STAtes that will raise the rear about an inch. King already sent me some rear 2.5'' king smooth body for me to figure out valving profiles as well. I just need to whole package together so i can start testing. I dont even have a name for the suspension company yet lol....

most of you guys are probably who the F is this guy... ha.

Kinda wondering who the F, but still intrigued!

Looking forward to hearing what you come up with. Any idea what pricing may be, comparison wise to other kits for the WK2 out there?
