Eibach Leveling kit issues...

Just curious if anyone else here uses the eibach kit? i have had it on my 2014 limited for about 6 months now. And have had a couple of issues.. main one is that it rides like a brick. Not sure if eibach things we are lifting to go road racing or what.. but my god it's BAD. Second issue is that after putting the kit in. If i take off hard in sport mode i get a weird slipping feeling.. almost like the trans or transfer case is slipping.

I'm not sure if this is due to a CV angle.. OR.. right before i put the kit in i took my jeep in and had all the software upgrades done and one was to the transfer case.. so not sure if there is history of a bad software flash for it..

I wasn't worrying too much about these issues cause i was gonna trade in on a new one. until i was told mine is only worth 26k.. never had a car lose value so fast (with 16k miles and like new)

BTW.. in case anyone wonders.. i put the eibach kit on cause i couldn't deal with those clunking rear shocks again.. 3 sets on 12k miles.. the hard ride is worth it not to have that damn clunking

I still have stock tires btw.. did changing tires help the ride out for anyone also? Thanks guys...

Does the Eibach kit include new shocks & coil springs? Not familiar with the "kit".

Yeah.. shocks/springs was likke $700 2.5" in front .5" in back it sits perfect.. but rides hard.. and the slippage issue is annoying.. When i talked to their tech guys they said their owner has the same kit on his GC and never had issues... so no idea

Re: Eibach Leveling kit issues...

I did some "google checking" after I posted and everyone said the ride was decent, not like what you are experiencing.
I wouldn't think the tires would make a difference unless they're bald and I would not think the new cv angle should factor in since it's not a drastic lift, but I suppose every rig is different.
Are the shocks adjustable?
