Re: Eibach pro drop kit before and after

Thanks for posting your experience for others. I have a similar setup and wanted have a couple of questions.

Do you have the v6-or v8? I have a v-6 and the pro-kit spring kit is 15-20% stiffer up front, and 40-45% stiffer in the back. I upgraded to the bilstein 4600s all around. Did you notice a softening in the ride of the bilsteins after the install? I picked up a noticeable increase in body roll/jiggle.

After consulting with bilstein and eibach, I ultimately had the rear bilsteins revalved, increasing the bump a little and rebound quite a bit, which tightened everything back up. Feels european on the road now.

I was just wondering what your experience was, as I think many on this forum have the same setup, and no one has really commented on it. I also have srt front/rear sways.

BTW your truck looks great. i agree perfect subtle lowering....

Regards,

Regards,

Thanks man. I agree about the available information, or lack there of. I had to do a lot of homework to figure out what I needed. Glad this post has saved a few people a few hours of headache.

I have the v6 as well. I had no issues when I changed. The ride improved pretty dramatically. I put about 10k miles on the jeep since and still no issues. I have been contemplating the sway bars too but a few other projects have taken precedence over the suspension so maybe down the line.
