Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

I'm not scared of a little camber. I was running -2.5 in the rear on my g35 sedan.

If I could get my hand on some coilovers my Jeep would have a zero finger gap all around.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

FYI, I have 2.0 deg camber up front and 1.5 in the rear.
I still want to cut a coil off the rear springs but its not high on my priority list right now.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

I finally installed the 5/8" spacers and it brought the front up about 3/4" to 1". Sorry, I didn't measure, but I have the old measurements and just need to take a new one.
Overall it looks better. Still has a slight rake to it, but not nearly as bad as before. I might consider cutting a coil on the rear.
Anyone else with the Eibachs wish for better damping? The Eibachs aren't too bad, but definitely less than ideal matched with the factory shocks. I hope there will be a few more options going forward. I would seriously consider a coilover setup if somebody released one. Maybe KW will develop one for the SRT8 and we can swap them in

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

Just finished installation of the Eibach Pro-Kit and very happy with the results. I am concerned about the alignment issue. Did have it re-aligned after installation. Does anyone have the alignment specifications?

this was my 1st alignment......the second one after 3000 miles is much more even from side to side. (don't have the print out for that one with me)

Did you do it yourself? I have all the parts I need sitting around just contemplating to pay or install it myself. I got a quote got $500.00 for the install which I think is on the high end. I've done multiple spring swaps but never on a SUV.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

Yep, would of done it myself....just didn't have any free time. Besides its so nice to drop it off and then pick it up finished. Well I had to drop it off and pick it up twice. No one told me that I needed the upper mounts for the standard rear shocks......even when I called Eibach before the install all they said was I needed the standard rear shocks.....yeah that did t work.

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

What's the issues with the front install? Something to do with the pressure the springs are under?

Re: Eibach pro-kit installed

you have to pull the axles....then the SRT's have these little rubber cups on top of the coilover that are a pain......etc etc.
