Re: ERS question
On the Hemi ERS locks out the second overdrive gear, 5th in Drive. Normally 3rd gear has the 1:1 drive ratio, with 4th and 5th as overdrive gears.
The hidden second gear (kickdown/passing) becomes a new underdrive gear, and the 1:1 gear (normally 3rd) becomes 4th gear. 5th gear is the first overdrive gear.
Refer to the chart on page 358 of the Owners Manual.
