Factory reproduction 22x10 and 305's

Can someone assure me that this combination will work on my non-SRT WK2 Jeep. I want to use a 305/40 R22 on the rear but I don't want the tire to stick out past the fender or rubber on anything.

I have the factory reproduction staggered wheels and the offset on the rear 22x10's is 45mm. I'm starting to second guess my tire decision only because I can't seem to find any info about anyone running this size.

Thanks in advance.

I had them on my srt. They were tight and I couldnt lower it like I wanted too. I went with 285 35 22. Good choices in that size. Theres very few choices in 305 35....and they are not all season.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of. Can you guys help me pick some tires then. I really want the most aggressive size that I can get. Also I don't need all season tires I live in Houston and really only have to deal with rain.

...he's running 305/40/r22's (same tires & size I'll be upgrading to in the future)!!

Maybe that will help ya out.

Re: Factory reproduction 22x10 and 305's

Hey, thanks for the link but I think I've read them all. Haha!
Well I think I'm just going to go with the Nitto 420's 265/35 and 295/30, I still want to cut the rear springs to level off the stance so I dont want to take a chance with rubbing tires.
This set up will be about 1.5" smaller in diameter than stock but I guess it will have to do.

Look at the Hankook Ventus ST. Really nice looking thread and ride is smooth. I am running 295/45/20 all around my 2012 hemi

Thanks for the info.

I still haven't made up my mind, I really want to run 265/45 r22's up front and 305/40 r22's in the rear but I'm afraid that because of the Eibach spring I might rub. Can you post a couple of pics of your rear tires? I'd really like to see how much clearance you have with 295's.

Re: Factory reproduction 22x10 and 305's

No. I have the QL so I can't lower it. It's in park mode. Two days ago I pulled the air suspension fuse and in doing so I can drive in park mode all the time. Downside to that it also disables the ELSD which you need in bad weather. So I've decided to run like this and when the weather gets bad just put the fuse back on lol lol

Re: Factory reproduction 22x10 and 305's

Well wish me luck, going to order the 305/40's for the rear.....that's what I really want so I'm going to try to make it work.
