Looking to upgrade my stock 17" rims to 20" factory overland’s rims with 265/50/20 and was wondering if anyone has mounted the Firestone destinations ST? Looking for an all year round setup and I like the performance look of these tires and they seem to hold up good in the winter months from the reviews that I have read. If you have any other suggest I would glad appreciate them...
The Destination ST tire is a street/racing type tire. It won't be good at all in the snow that's for sure. Neither will it be any good off-roading. If you like Firestone, go with the Destination A/T.
I asked the same question a while ago, but about Destination AT. All responses were positives including a few members that had them on their WK2. I ended up with Cooper AT3's though. You can try searching the forum for Destination AT. The ST is not a good tire for our trucks, at least in my opinion.
I had them on my Lexus RX350 and they were a great tire. Very low noise level unlike the OEM Fortera HL's on my JGCO, very comfortable ride. No problems with snow but we have mild winters here in St Louis.
Thanks you all for your input. I did some more searching on the site and think am going to go with the Toyo Proxes STII. Look to be a good tire and also I like the tread pattern since it gives an aggressive look and a good all-season tire...
I just put my Firestone Destination ST's on my Overland today. I took them on the Interstate and got of to about 85. The difference in ride is substantial. MUCH BETTER! Extremely quiet and look fantastic too. I'll post some pics when I get them cleaned up.

It was 17" Destination ST's I put on my Lexus so thanks for reporting on the 20's. I was hoping that they would be much quieter and a more comfortable ride than the Forteras. I think this will be my choice. Mind if I ask what the total price was and where you got them from?
I'm interested in hearing about how these tires are holding up. I need to replace my stock tires and I was thinking about going with the Firestone Destination STs.
I am interested in road noise and all weather capability.
Thanks Jeep_addicted
I am looking for a nice quiet riding tire which still provide all weather capability. The local tire shop is pushing the Firestone STs on my because it is one of the few tires that fits 2011 Overland.
I looked at the reviews on tirerack.com and the Firestone Destination ST received fairly good ratings for a sport/ all season tire.
