First Gear Slipping

I have a 2013 v6 with the SelecTerrain knob and the first gear seems to be slipping. Sometime when I come to a stop and start going again, there is a delay in the engagement and then a kick when it does. Has anyone else experienced this before? I took it to the Jeep dealership since it only has 34k on it and they told me there was a software they downloaded for better shift points. I know, the line they give to have to keep from looking into the problem.

Just wondering

Re: First Gear Slipping

I have a 2014 and have noticed this as well. I think it has to do with a delay in the transmission downshifting from 2-1. I just started to notice this, first time I felt it, I thought a tire was on a rock, or something slippery.
