I had a flat up at the cottage this past weekend and had to use the crappy spare tire which is bloody useless.

Drove home Sunday night and went to the dealer Monday morning. Flat tire fixed, but I don't ever want to use the crappy spare ever again. So, I ordered a black winter rim and a matching Wrangler Silent Armor tire. Came in today, picked it up and hey it fits in the spare compartment!

The two side compartments fit in as well. I had to modify the foam jack holder to fit though. Cut here, cut there and it fit into the wheel hole.

Now if I ever get a flat agian, I'll have a real tire/wheel:cool:

So you just matched the diameter right? Im wondering what the skinnier tire will match the diameter of my 285/50s.

Im an idiot. My spare is already an 18" steel wheel. I guess just a falken rocky mountain close to the diameter of my other wheels is all I need.

Love them! By far the best tire I've ever ran in my history of driving vehicles.

A huge plus with the Silent Armors is they are snow rated. They have the snowflake logo on them which means I can legally run them year around where I live.
