Re: Goodyear fortera vs michelin Latitude

They're the 18's as opposed to the 20's, but I was really disappointed by the Latitudes in the snow. Frankly it was a bit hairy a couple times this past winter. I had the Fortera's on my WK and they were much better. On road is quite good. I don't know how similar the 20's would be, or where you'll be driving it, but I won't be replacing mine with Latitudes when it's time if that helps any.

I just had my tires balanced and rotated and they're great. A word of caution though, I don't know how much you go into the rough stuff, but a lot of the WK2 drivers with the Latitudes hate the tire's offroad performance---me included, we had a few big snow storms this winter and in snow they're mediocre at best. But on-road..coupled with the new suspension, the ride quality is excellent. Like skiing on powder.

Damn, I wish it was ski season already...

Re: Goodyear fortera vs michelin Latitude

Check out Tire Rack....I have the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A 20 inch on mine and waiting to make the switch in the fall to the Bridgestones Dueler H/L Alenza Plus or the Continental CrossContact LX 20. The Pirelli's are a bit to pricey. I have the Bridgestones on my 2015 Chevy Traverse LTZ with 20 inch rims and they have a quite ride, are great in the snow and are very responsive, we've had several severe winters here in the Mid-Atlantic the last couple years and this past year was no exception.
