Re: Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure

If you 'upgrade' from the Latitude 17" rims to the 18" rims, you need to find one of the "towing package" spares.

OEM Laredo X = 265/60R18
Full size spare = 245/65R18

I don't have any notes on the width of the steel rim.

There's only 1 tire company that makes that silly-ass spare tire size.
Kumho Solus KL21

Cheap tire, but hey it's a spare.
The tire is big enough to be the same radius as the 265/60R18, but narrow enough to fit under the cargo lid.

rs153719 is on a distinguished road
Since this was news to me, would a 255/70/17 spare work? Has the same diameter of my 265/65/18.

That tire would be 1cm wider than the 18" spare.
The first number in the tire size refers to the width of the tire cross-section in millimeters.
I'm not sure if that would fit under the cargo lid or not.
I've never bothered to see how much 'free' room there is above my spare.

I think a 255/70/17 will fit just fine, probably without the bins. It's the widths at 275 and over that seem to be problematic and keep the lid ajar.
