Lightbulb Grand Cherokee Altitude - Painting Center Caps

Anyone tried painting their wheel center caps?

I'm considering painting mine to match the body, or replacing it with chrome caps to add some contrast. But if I do white, I'm not sure how to go about ensuring the paint doesn't just crack off.

Any suggestions on sanding, priming, paint type, etc?

Black wheel, white center cap, silver lugs? No. Just...no.

Wow man, PLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEEE don't do that to your awesome looking Altitude. If you need to do something to your Altitude go get the front windows tinted to match the factory rear tint.

Re: Grand Cherokee Altitude - Painting Center Caps

I used vinyl on my previous car's center caps but I agree it would look cheesy if you had different color caps on black wheels.

Orange would look nice and cheesy if one is a Green Bay fan, and possibly also for Halloween.

Are these Jeep wheels? Aren't there black center caps available from the accessory store?

I'm picking up what you guys are throwing down

Right now I'm just messing in Photoshop, really cuz I'm not a huge fan of all black wheels.

I found a bunch of 4 sets on ebay for under $30. Anyways here's what chrome caps would look like, definitely better than white caps + chrome lugs.
